A few tips for interesting Star Wars toys - figures and statues

Since 1977 when the first line of Star Wars merchandise appeared, there were literally thousands of different types of Star Wars toys, figures and other collectibles released by different manufacturers worldwide. As collector, I already know that it would be unrealistic to provide a comprehensive overview within a single page like this one, so I will at least introduce some of the items I find most interesting. On this page, I will start with my favorite category of Star Wars toys - figures and statues.

The most popular action figures - Star Wars clones

Without any doubt, currently the most popular Star Wars toys, figures and collectibles are the ones related to 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' animated series. If you are trying to find a perfect Star Wars gift for your child, these are the ones to look for.

Among the most favorite Star Wars clone figures, there are different kinds of clone troopers, battle droids and of course the famous characters which appeared in the original movie saga. Since these figures are inspired by the animated series, they are not trying to be too realistic, but feature the "cartoon style". I suspect it's one of the reasons the kids like them so much.

Star Wars Toys/Figures - Legacy Titanium Series

Star Wars Toys / figures from the Legacy Saga Legends series

As the name suggests, these are the toys, figures and statues inspired by the original film saga, so you pretty much know what to expect - the good old characters you already know, in new modern design.

The Legacy line of Star Wars toys, figures and collectibles also includes the 'Titanium Series' - high quality die-cast models of various vehicles and spacecraft. I would highly recommend this line to all true Star Wars lovers and collectors.

Star Wars Toys/Figures - Galactic Heroes

The Star Wars Galactic Heroes is basically a line of cute mini Star Wars Toys/Figures. The figures are about 2 inches tall and they are also available in sets including various vehicles and spacecraft models. They are both interesting as toys for your kids or as collectible items.

This unique mini-figure collection features a wide variety of awesome characters from some of the coolest and most unforgettable Star Wars movie scenes.

My personal favorites are the Boba Fett set (for no particular reason - I simply like this character) and X-Wing Fighter on Dagobah Set.
